Exceptional service and exquisite dishes make this a must visit for any unagi lover. The Unaju is fantastic. The sauce is rich but does not overwhelm the flavors of the grilled unagi. The restaurant is well known and reservations are recommended. The upstairs area offers private table seating for more formal business lunches or private dining.

Close to the train station. For people dont know Japanese, there is English menu. Recommend to try seiromishi, which is eel with steamed rice in special meal box.

Ideal cooked. The skin is crisp and the body is plump. The pine was 6 sharp, but it is actually 3 sharp. That there is only one in Kokura. Not disappoint. In Fukuoka, it's definitely Honyoshiya and Wakamatsuya! I never met the store over here than in texture in eating until now!

The two of us called for a big eel sharingEel is crispy outside and soft inside, large portionThere are four floors. The bottom is rice. Then the eel and rice are between.Super delicious staff is very polite and worth visiting

Really good unagi don, soft, flavourful, yet the edges are slightly crispy. Goes really well with beer or cold sake. Crowded place, seems to attract quite a few out-of-towners. Comfortable seating. Quick, friendly service. English menu available though a bit confusing, ask for the one with pictures to avoid misunderstanding.

I received bamboo from the steaming course. It's delicious, but it's also expensive. These days, eel is precious, so I think it can't be helped, but you can only go on special days.

It is quite famous among the restaurants in the Kokura area, and its customers are not interrupted."Kabayaki course / pine (4,800 yen)"(1) Uzaku & Mentaiko, (2) Liver ware, (3) Kabayaki, rice and soup, and (4) Fruit.Uzaku is a dish of shredded eel and shredded cucumbers mixed with three glasses of vinegar. The impression that the main kabayaki is in the pine class gives a sense of volume. It is a painful feeling that eel is not really harvestable and it is becoming expensive recently, but it should be added that the reliable grilling technique and the taste of sauce are first-class.<Estimated budget / CP review>ï¼  1,900 yen ~Fluctuates greatly depending on the order. Increased overall due to the rising value of eels. Single items are expensive.

Everything here tastes really good, best grilled fish here, just a bit pricey. If u have a budget count, u can have a small don (rice bowl).

Used at the end of 2019. When we arrived 10 minutes before the opening of the store, it was already in line, but we entered in the first round.I ordered unaju, white grilled, liver grilled, and sake.I think Kanto's liver grill is often sticky with sauce, but the liver grill here is delicious and delicious. White grilled delicious.The sea urchin and the outside are well baked softly and the sauce is sweet because it is Kyushu. I like sweet sauce.For sake, order the Hiyama people. It tastes like Shaoxing but goes well with eel.I want to go again.

Chinese tourists with kids on relatively friendly restaurant, the waiter will be very carefully explained to you in Japanese menu also ask a lot of questions XD extent delicious eel itself in the count, but the restaurant business very hard with the decor, is recommended.

We had eel weight for lunch. Excited plums = 5,060 yen including tax! Not only the quality of eel, but the grilling is exquisite. The sauce taste is kept to a minimum and there is no strong sweetness unique to Kyushu. After a long time, I enjoyed the taste of eel itself. Because it was slow in accounting, it became ☆ four, but next time I'm looking forward to full of wasabi at night with wasabi.

Very classy place. I went to eat eel rice bowl and was surprised that it was higher than I thought. I ate Seiromushi Ume size (2900 yen) but the price is too wicked ... The difference between Seiromushi and Unadon is that the steamed rice is steamed in a steaming bowl and Unadon is warm in rice bowl. It is. There were a lot of older seniors, and I overheard the side seat conversation and said that the rice and eel are so soft and delicious without the sauce. I agree

We didn’t know where to go and found this place on Google Maps. It is beyond our expectation and some. As you see on picture. There’s no trick, it’s just eel on rice with perfection.
